Meet Avery Colburn, the mastermind behind one of our most popular products, the Door E-Cubby. With a lifelong passion for flying inherited from his balloon pilot parents, Avery’s journey into the skies led him to discover the versatile world of paramotors. In 2020, he made the switch, trading in his supercharged Civic for a 2008 Element that could seamlessly accommodate his airborne adventures.
A full-time electronics installer for both automobiles and mobile homes, Avery specializes in a spectrum of enhancements. From car alarms to cutting-edge sound systems, remote starts, and power systems, including solar installations, Avery’s expertise extends across the automotive and mobile living landscapes.
Drawing on a decade of experience in 3D printing and fueled by a desire to unlock the full potential of his Element, Avery embarked on a mission. Leveraging his skills in car electronics installation, he began tinkering and crafting upgrades and modifications for his beloved E.
Avery’s ingenuity extends beyond the Door E-Cubby. He has designed and built a repertoire of custom lighting features for the Element, showcasing his commitment to enhancing every aspect of the driving experience. From transforming fog light switches to turning side markers into turn signals, creating a service light for under the hood, to adding puddle lights – Avery’s contributions elevate the Element’s functionality and aesthetics.

Trail Breeze™ / eleVENT™ Modular Window Vent System
Universal Dual-Opening Front Window Vent for Heating, Cooling, and Ventilation
The Trail Breeze™ / eleVENT™ Modular Window Vent System is a vehicle-specific front roll-down window insert designed to give you maximum flexibility for airflow, climate control, and accessory integration — all through a single, modular vent platform.
Installation is simple and fully reversible: roll the front window down, place the window plate into the opening, then raise the window to hold the assembly securely in place. No drilling, cutting, or permanent vehicle modification is required.

How the System Works
Each Trail Breeze / eleVENT window plate features two independent vent openings.
- Each opening can be configured separately
- Inserts and adapters may be mounted on the interior or exterior side of the vehicle
- All inserts and adapters use the same universal vent interface
This allows you to mix and match inserts and adapters for heating, cooling, or passive ventilation — now or in the future — without ever replacing the window vent itself.
The system may be installed on either the driver-side or passenger-side front window and is fully removable when not in use.

What’s Included (Per Window)
Each base window vent kit includes:
- Vehicle-specific window plate
- Interior vent frame
- Exterior vent frame
- High-flow screen insert ×1
- Blank insert ×1
This provides two usable vent openings out of the box:
- One screened opening for airflow and bug protection
- One sealed opening for temperature control or unused ports
Optional Adapter Kits (Most Common Setups)
For customers using portable AC units or heaters, the following complete adapter kits may be added at checkout for the most common configurations:

- 🔥 Diesel Heater Adapter (Single · 3″)
A common first-purchase option for diesel heater users. One adapter is used per hose (most diesel heater setups use a single hose).

Adapter OD values are intentionally slightly undersized to allow hose fitment.
Clamp-on and slip-fit adapters are typically ~0.05–0.15″ smaller than nominal hose size.
EcoFlow QC adapters taper past the retention ring and are designed for quick-connect couplers.
Clamp fitment may be limited.
