Incredibly helpful, well designed and perfect fit. I have a 2007 EX called Elvira and this hack allowed me to use a much stronger plastic 2005 console. It was the cornerstone of the dash build. Thank you!

Is Your 2007-2011 Honda Element Suffering from Fragile Dash Plastic?

If so, you're not alone. The brittle dash plastic on these models is a common issue—and fixing it can feel overwhelming. Replacement parts are hard to find, expensive, and just as prone to cracking.

Previously, the only way to upgrade to the sturdier 2003-2006 Center Dash Assembly was to remove the SRS light and tuck it behind the dash—not exactly a great solution.

At Element DIY, we tackled this problem head-on and developed a simple, attractive, and easy-to-install snap-in bracket. This innovative piece allows you to use the durable dash panels from the earlier models without losing functionality. With this upgrade, you can enjoy a more resilient dash—no more worrying about cracks or breaks!
