Jim M.

A passionate dog owner and proven problem-solver

Hello fellow E owners! My name is Jim and I have created a custom, third door window replacement for all the E’s out there. I purchased my E in summer of ’23 for the sole purpose of it being our “dog hauler” as it seemed like such a great fit for our Giant Alaskan Malamute, Milo. In fact, we named it the “MiloRider”. He’s well over #130 and getting older so the low entry and third door just seemed like a great alternative to our other vehicles.

Avery Colburn

Electronics Guru and Designer

My parents are balloon pilots and I have been flying all my life. In 2020 I learned to fly paramotors and quickly realized I needed a car that could accommodate that, so I traded in my supercharged civic for a 2008 Element. Working as a car accessories installer, I realized the potential the Element had and the features I wish it came with, so I got to work. Using my experience installing car electronics and my 10 years of 3D printing, I continue to tinker and tool with upgrades and mods for my E.

3D printer and Designer

Hey, I’m Matt! I’m a technically inclined maker and artist with roots in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and a passion for turning ideas into tangible wonders! I specialize in bringing ideas into the physical world through various digital manufacturing techniques, like 3D printing, CNCing, and laser cutting. My days are filled with dreaming up whimsical toys & objects that bring joy to both kids and adults alike, and then testing them out on unsuspecting friends and their kids (they love it). I‘ve joined the Honda Element community recently and I’m already blown away by the endless creativity and DIY spirit that runs through it. From ingenious modifications to quirky additions, these beloved "toasters" are a testament to the community‘s ingenuity. I’m excited to add my own contributions to the mix, marrying my playful & practical designs with the playful essence of these unique vehicles. Hopefully I add to the creative pool of inspiration in the process!
