Hey, I’m Matt! I’m a technically inclined maker and artist with roots in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and a passion for turning ideas into tangible wonders! I specialize in bringing ideas into the physical world through various digital manufacturing techniques, like 3D printing, CNCing, and laser cutting. My days are filled with dreaming up whimsical toys & objects that bring joy to both kids and adults alike, and then testing them out on unsuspecting friends and their kids (they love it). I’ve joined the Honda Element community recently and I’m already blown away by the endless creativity and DIY spirit that runs through it. From ingenious modifications to quirky additions, these beloved “toasters” are a testament to the community’s ingenuity. I’m excited to add my own contributions to the mix, marrying my playful & practical designs with the playful essence of these unique vehicles. Keep Leaves, Debris, and Critters Out of Your HVAC
If you own a 2003–2011 Honda Element or 2002–2006 second-generation CR-V, you may already know how easily leaves and other debris can make their way into the HVAC system.
And if you’ve ever had to reach down through the blend-door opening to pull that mess back out, you know how unpleasant that job can be.
Enter: the Cave Mods Blend Bunker 2.0
The Blend Bunker 2.0 is a precision-fit screen system designed to help keep leaves, debris, and unwanted critters from entering through the blend-door opening.
The outer hoop is 3D printed from UV- and heat-resistant ASA and uses both a friction fit and coated magnets to help keep it securely in place, even on rough roads.
An integrated hard mesh helps discourage rodents, while the included custom-cut fiberglass window screen helps block smaller leaves and debris without rusting or corroding.
For even more protection, pair it with the Cave Mods Splash Shield, which helps reduce rainwater splashing into the blend-door opening.
