Hey, I’m Matt! I’m a technically inclined maker and artist with roots in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering and a passion for turning ideas into tangible wonders! • Smooth (flat) bezel
• Bumped bezel
FYI: Most Honda Elements use the smooth/flat bezel.
Left and right orientation is referenced from the driver’s seat.

Aftermarket Head Unit Compatibility
Yes — this setup works with aftermarket head units as long as the radio bezel is OEM or securely fastened to the vehicle.
The Side Kick mounts to the bezel itself, not directly to the dash structure. If your bezel is solid and doesn’t flex when pressed, you’re good.
Some aftermarket bezel kits use lighter plastic or weaker mounting points. If the bezel isn’t firmly attached, the mount may feel unstable.
If your bezel feels solid, this setup will perform as intended.
