My days are filled with dreaming up whimsical toys & objects that bring joy to both kids and adults alike, and then testing them out on unsuspecting friends and their kids (they love it). If you’ve ever had a Honda Element windshield trim piece come loose—or disappear completely on the highway—you already know how frustrating and expensive the factory setup can be.
Each trim piece relies on 15 factory clips, and replacing the trim and clips can add up quickly.
Enter: the Cave Mods Windshield Trim Bracket Upgrade Kit
This kit replaces the factory clip-dependent setup with a more secure bracket-and-magnet system designed to keep your windshield trim firmly attached.
The custom brackets are 3D printed from Tough Resin to withstand heat, impacts, and vibration. Each side uses four coated 20 lb pull-force magnets, providing strong retention while helping resist rust and corrosion.
The system has been tested through more than 1,500 miles of rough roads, potholes, rain, and Georgia summer heat without the trim coming loose.
